Malene Birger Interior

Malene Birger graduated from the Danish School of Design in 1989 after graduating as a window dresser. She started her career in the fashion industry in 1989 as a designer at Jackpot by Cali Gry and was head designer of the women`s collection at Marc O`Polo in Stockholm.

In 1997 Malene Birger founded Day Birger et Mikkelsen and was creative director there until 2002, when she left the company to found By Malene Birger in collaboration with IC Group in 2003.
