Hubertus von Hohenloe
Cosmopolitan Hubertus von Hohenloe, from the ski slope to photography, always versatile, colourful, shows us that photographic art is possible even with a small camera. It doesn't take a lot of technology, a lot of effort to create unique, artistic photographs. With a Finepix Viewer, Hubertus von Hohenloe takes clear, colour-intensive photographs, which can be seen in exhibitions in Budapest, among other places, and in various illustrated books.

La Carla Bruni
We all know her as the wife of French President Nicolas Sarkozy. Some of us still remember her as one of the supermodels. At the latest with the song Quelqu'un m'a dit, Carla Bruni has finally sung her way into our hearts. So much poetry accompanied by beautiful guitar playing. And that is just one example from decades of music history and numerous CDs. Always a pleasure for our ears and, perhaps at Christmas, a present for our loved one...

Movies
What a tragedy. Due to the Corona Lockdowns, we Germans could no longer indulge in one of our favourite pastimes, watching films. Film releases could not be enjoyed. The short break was used to watch at least a few films quickly. Despite all the circumstances, we would like to present the current cinema programme here in the hope that we will be able to reopen the cinema season in the spring. And here you can see the current cinema programme of the German cinemas...

Shakespeare Theatre
Romeo, oh Romeo... Who of us has not grown up with this tragic love story of two young people who, despite hostile families, find their way to each other and live one of the greatest romances of our time until a tragic misunderstanding writes them to their common death. This story could not be told with such intensity were it not for the unforgettable English language of William Shakespeare. Romeo and Juliet and other plays by Shakespeare can be seen at the theatre of the Bremer Shakespear Company. There you can enjoy an evening of theatre at its best, in German or English. Watch out, even for the younger ones among our readers. It's worth it...

La Musique du Pop francaise
Our neighbouring country not only impresses with its delicious cheese, excellent wine and savoire vivre. It also sounds musically to us from time to time. Not always with a powerful voice, but always with French charm, beautiful chanson melodies and lyrics à la francaise. What are Jean Jacques Goldman, Les Ritas Mizouku, Indochine, Patricia Kaas or Vanessa Paradis doing? We did a little research and picked out the latest albums for you...

Books Tips
A Winter in Paris
For the cosy time of year, when it's cold and windy outside and you're cosying up on the sofa. On a rainy day, when the rain from outside pelts against the window. That's the time to pick up a good book, get cosy and have a reading day. How about a winter day in Paris? With Jean-Philippe Blondel in "A Winter in Paris"? Or with Paul Auster in "Winter Journal" or Patrick Modiano "In the Café of Lost Youth"?
