Snail Shopping

Finally, our men are accompanying us on shopping trips again, whether in Hamburg, Paris, London or New York. The new form of shopping is everywhere. In Hamburg, there are colourfully painted chairs on Neuer Wall so that the men can take a rest every now and then and then accompany the women to the next Louis Vuitton shop with full vigour and advise them on their purchases. But it can be even better. In his book Eat, Shop and Drink, ...presents boutiques where you can sit down comfortably and have a bite to eat or a drink. Under the name Snail-Shopping, Philip Jodidio presents selected designer boutiques as "relaxed cult places". In a tea shop in Paris, you can enjoy your tea right in the shop, and a couple in London have set up an interior design showroom right in their own four walls. Fancy a shopping trip?
